Hello All,
Long story short, my riding buddy bought a drifter a couple of years back when he got into riding and I've always liked his bike. Decided to look for one myself and found what is now sitting in my garage.. 99', Drifter with 7400 miles on her. Previous owner was an older gentleman that purchased her new and unfortunately couldnt ride so he decided to part with her. Had to make a small change to the bars to make them more comfortable and added some new tires a the originals were still on here and now she's ready to ride. I look forward to cruising many miles on her.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you've got a great ride. Got any pics? We love pics!
Tried to link a picture to the original post, not sure how to do it. Here's a link though!

Welcome aboard!
You'll love ridin' her, but be prepared to deal with a lot of people making nice comments on your bike and asking "Is that a Indian?".. ;)
That's a very nice looking scoot, with some great optional equipment included.
Like mittico said, leave extra time wherever you go, because you will get stopped a lot with questions and such.

Very nice looking machine. Dig those white wallies.
Thanks for the warm welcome! One thing in particular I'd like to do come spring is a multi state ride over the course of a few days. Any recommendations as to where to go from San Antonio and be able to see some really nice landscapes?
Sounds like the mountains of Arkansas are calling your name.
Or you could just plan to ride to Drift-In.
Very nice ride....a 99 and WWW so cool...... ::)
what's "Drift-In"?
Welcome to the forum. Nice ride. 8)
Drift In is an annual meeting of Drifter Riders someplace in the USA. In 2017 it will be in Maggie Valley NC. If you have access to the other sections of the forum you will see people are also hosting regional gatherings for Drifters.
