Title: Roadhouse exhaust
Post by: Nanook on September 16, 2016, 21:58:34 PM
Well got all my parts now, and even more. Through my research I found that roadhouse used almost the same exhaust on all motorcycle, be it 800cc or 1700cc. The only difference being the bend in the header and the heatshield at the base of the exhaust. All use 1 1/2 " headers. 4" canister 20 or 24" long with fitting baffle (quiet, regular, performance). I've been able to find two cheap used roadhoue exhaust with serrated headers. I got pretty much everything I need, I will only have to modified the rear header and cut the base heatshield to make it shorter and everything should work. Crossing finger here!I will even be able to experiment a bit since I have both size canister and baffle!

Missus still love the corbin! Mister still prefer the solo spring seat..... need two drifter! I hope that this time it will be the right exhaust after the original one, the original one with mod, the roadburner, roadburner with quiet baffles, roadburner with home made baffle. I would love to put this aside once for all.

Recently I drop the drifter coming down from the working table and chipped the front fender, if you see one coming up for sale somewhere please let me know!

Is it snowing yet in north bay? 5 celsius here friday morning.......cold ride for sure!

I'll keep my eyes open for a 800 front fender and let you know. What price range are you willing to spend? PM me if you want to.

No snow yet but lots of heavy frost, How close are you to St. Jean - sur- Richelieu for a graduation parade in late Nov early Dec. so would be by truck at that time of year.

I heard mixed review about the. fiberglass replacement fender so would prefer original one. I hope to get one for 150$-200$ maybe a bit more if the right color. All my family live in St-Jean near the military collège, my brother is in charge of maintenance at the megastructure where they train for basic training, let me know when you'll be there!

Ok so $200.00 if I can find an original for you not a big deal will start to hunt for you.

My sister's step son is finishing his first week of basic, so if he invites me to his grad parade I will go, and let you know in advance and perhaps you can drive down for a Brador ...........
