Hey 1500 riders...I have taken over manufacturing the "Osprey" style saddlebag mounts for both the 1500 and 800 model drifters. I have posted 2 sets for the 1500 on the classifieds. one set is slightly discounted due to some small nicks and scratches as one of the mounts is the original template from Osprey. The others are brand new with nice and heavy powder coating. Once these are sold, I will order some more and re-list. Lead time on manufacturing is about 3 weeks total....these are on a first come - first served basis....

Sounds good. If you have any questions about mounting them, please let me know. I asked David at Osprey how they are suppose to mount and he told me that they attach to the two bolt holes on each side of the seat mount using the 25mm bolts...Other than that info I have nothing by the way of mounting instructions. Since I don't have a 1500, I had to look up the OEM parts diagram on Partzilla to see where they go...I would suggest that as a starting place.
If anyone here on the forum has experience with using these mounts..PLEASE post some pics/instructions.....

fyi...I have sold out of both the 800 and 1500 mounts. I am taking reservations (you just need to let me know that you want a set...no payment upfront required). when I have at least a couple of reservations, I will have the fabricator make some more...I have updated the classified adds to reflect the status....

I'll be working with a machinist to modify my brackets tomorrow. the brackets you sent would most likely work for a vast majority of the saddle bags out there, but mine (saddle bags)are a little different. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Mounts are sold out....again; both 800 and 1500. I will still take orders for more...manufacturing is still taking about 2-3 weeks, depending on how busy they are...just email me and I can start a list. When I have a minimum of 3 sets on order, I will have new ones started.
