Title: Vibration 800
Post by: MikeakaFred on August 04, 2016, 07:21:29 AM
Last year I was whining about excessive vibration on my 800 as I approached 95kph or about 57mph. This year I solved the problem and now can take the bike up to 130kph before any vibration begins.
How??...I changed the spark plugs !

This may or may not work for you.

If it was the sparking plugs they were breaking down at higher revs and higher loading / and or temperature. It happens sometimes. Coils can also start to fail intermittently under higher loads. It's more common in older components, so it pays to change your plugs as per the maintenance schedule.

Yes it can cause an engine miss, which causes a vibration
