Title: Front wheel problems
Post by: richaud on August 03, 2016, 08:44:20 AM
Hi All
I have finally figured out that my Wheel is the problem.. the rim isn't true anymore and the thing that is causing the wobbleor rather bouncing... Does any other Wheel fit the drifter front? I have the 1999 drifter with the gear for speedo. Help muuch appreciated. Tried mailaing approx 23 different bikeshops and nond true spoked Wheels anymore...

There are several very good videos on YouTube to learn how to true your wheels.
There are also many very bad ones...

I recently laced and trued 3 wheels for the first time and found it actually fun.
I did have to loosen all the spokes on one of them and start over but it was very informative.
It is not a difficult thing to do, but it does take time.
Experienced wheel builders just do it faster.
