Troll decided to have a little get together at his place this week, and many of the Drifter owners from miles around are now heading towards his locality. One of them that heard the call was our own Greenbarn.
Since Greenbarn lives in Ohio, and Troll is clear up in Wisconsin, Mr. Greenbarn had the option to swing by my area of Indiana on his route. After a couple of Emails and a phone call the other day, it was all set!
I was looking forward to meeting a fellow forum member with such a fine upstanding reputation as Mr. Greenbarn, hoping that rubbing elbows with his sort would boost my own rep.
We met in the next town over from my own since there is nothing where I live. A little greasy spoon called the Broadway Diner was our meeting place. They have good food at a reasonable price, and a relaxed atmosphere that made our meeting quite enjoyable.
We had breakfast together, along with Mrs. PC, talked, and just generally had a great visit.
When it came time to hit the road, we broke out the camera, knowing that if there aren't pictures, it didn't happen. We then lead Mr. Greenbarn, on his beautiful 1500, back to the main drag and parted ways. It was all great fun, and I very much enjoyed his company.
Prayers for safe travels for all of you attending Troll's get together!
So now the pics (I'm the jacked up one, still swollen from the accident)........
::) Ok so answers my earlier question if you had seen him. Glad he could drop in and see you. He is a super person. Too bad you never got to met his lovely bride she is a star in her own right.
That is a fine lookin hockey sweater Mr. G is wearing.......

It's quite something, isn't it?
Truly great , that two of our Top notch members , where able to link up and meet . I'm sure a good conversation took place and well , Ratman was jelous. .... lol. .... Glad to see your pulling through from your horrific accident , Pastor Dude . Hopefully next year I'll have the opportunity to meet some of my drifter pals ! Hope everyone is well !
I was not jelous, I was in Sparta waiting for GB so we could do some riding again together........I keep avoiding Indiana they have a song about that place and it involves police and sirens.........
Just getting caught up....
It was great to see PC in person, and shake his hand. Also great to meet Mrs. PC - she's truly an angel to put up with Mr. PC all these years!! :D
The food was great, and the friendship even greater. Happy trails, PC, until we meet again. We live close enough, we should do this more often... There's this great little restaurant near us that has world-famous baloney sandwiches.... 8)
GB, I'm down with that! Mrs. PC say's we're going to have to do that too!
Ratty , I'm hoping Mr. Troll does another Drift-In next year so I'm able to meet all you great folks .
Why not just come to the one Chief is forcing me to host next summer.......
Sorry Ratman , but I didn't know you where planning ( forced by Chief ) to host an event ? It's been awhile so I've got plenty of catching up to do on this great forum . Is there a thread started on this event ?
Working on it
Man, I miss my Nadine! Wish I could just take one last ride with all of you!
Alas, I can't even hold up a bike anymore........ I ride with you all in spirit though!
Guess I'll just have to catch up with you all in my cage!
***Gotta admit, I loved that bike!***
PC, I can understand your pain: it's only a week now since I left my bike in the garage, for the winter and I'm already missin' her!
Anyway, you could always ride a Drifter trike... think about it.

Oh, I gave it serious thought....trust me!
Thing is, my wife's health is slowly deteriorating, and she was beginning to have a hard time riding. With that in mind, I think a cool old convertible cage is the way to go for us.
I do miss that bike though!
A Morgan or a Slingshot might also be an option.

Well let us go way out here how about a sidecar or a Spyder.......
I really thought about a sidecar.
We'll see.......................
See if you can test ride someone else' hack rig.....they are NOT for everybody....get some instruction before you ride it. Right turns, if not done correctly, will put you on your side in a heartbeat
Yeah, I can imagine!

Those Morgans, IMO, are a thing of beauty.
Indeed they are! A little pricey though in the mid 40's.
That is a really cool shirt that Mr. GreenBarn is sporting in your picture.......he is such a sharp dressing person.....he should be on GQ........
Yeah, I noticed that! How much did you pay him to pull that stunt? ;)
I did not have to pay him.....lol.....he is a good person......
Ahhhh, so it wasn't money, but rather, some other form of coercion!
It was a free shirt!! Has a Drifter on it. How often you get a free shirt with a picture of a cool bike on it?
OK, guess I'll let you have that one........
It has his favorite number on the back, his Forum name on the back, and of course a picture of my Drifter on the front and it is a Hockey shirt......what more can a guy from 0hi0 want.......lol.......

Easy solution. You pay for half, and your wife pays for half. :o ;D ;)
Nice to see you back again DC.....
