Title: Throttle cable lenght R vs J series

just as an FYI
The OEM J series throttle cable is 90 cm long = ~1 yard
The OEM R series throttle cable is 105cm long, = around 6 inch longer

Thanks Mak for the measurements. The J1 crimped against the tank because I have a hard right turn out of my gagage.

Have obtained R1 cables via Netherlands and fitted them 2 days ago - with a mate helping it took two hours.

Apart from the clip on the overflow tube from the petrol tank,  sliding down behind the frame, and skinning a knuckle getting it back (can't have too many zip-ties , hey Jaglite ?).

As I have Phat II risers, I ran the cables (being 6-7  inches longer than the J1) b/t the two triple trees and then back over the top one to the handlebar. A few ties to keep various cables together and it now moves  without any restriction.
