Solo or 2-up seat? You may get lucky and find one at a dealership in their old stock. Your best chances are, ebay, craigslist and maybe yard sales. Good luck! 8)
Most of the seat makers no longer make a seat for the Drifter. We occasionally have a seat available here in the classifieds.

I have one I took off my 1500. perfect condition. solo
I have my original solo seat from my 2001, black, with concho's, less than a handful of hours use on it before I replaced with a 2-up. If memory serves me correctly, think I had to remove the small L-brackets that bolt it down to the frame, not 100% on that would have to look at it to see if that was the case. If you have an existing seat, then you already have them.
I have a 2001 black 2up drifter and am looking for a solo seat if any of these are still for sale.
The problem is however I am in Australia. If these parts are rare for you guys you can how hard they are to find here.
If shipping directly is not viable I have an importer in LA if anyone is interested in selling.
I will sell mine for 200. I don't know how that would be done tho. send a money order from LA plus shipping?
