As far as I can see, the back of those mirrors is plastic. Isn't it?
I'm just askin' because I want to change mine, but I'd like to go for steel ones (and black, of course...).

They may not be but they look alittle high to me...if so, I would take a tubing bender and bend them down about 1/4 away from the bend toward the mirror bringing the mirror down more inline with the grips or bend at same bend. They may be good though, I can't tell.
Bending them may crack the finish on the tubes though.
I like the look of the black mirrors, are they bikemaster brand?
The round mirrors really suit the bike!
8) sadly they are plastic, but for the price and I have yet to find metal black round mirrors, I have found lots of chrome tin metal mirrors, all square or rectangle, not what I want.
Yet no snow in my yard in the front still some in the back along the fence line, and lots in the bush, the lake is still not ice free, the choppers have been buzzing the lake to see if it is clear yet.
I have been playing with them a bit, they only have a single adjustment at the mirror end, I'll take a close up in the morning. I like that because once they are set they can not be moved by people messing with them. They are at the correct height for me.

But, how do they work on your handlebar? I mean, isn't that stem too short to let you see behind you on the mirrors?
they work ok.
you can adjust the mirror anywhere on the stem shaft. there is a little vibration to them at certain speeds...but i think in my case, it has more to do with the tires.
if you are going this way, just be sure to get the correct mounts...10mm, not the harley mounts.
