Title: Trike kit
Post by: Spiritwolf on April 26, 2016, 06:40:16 AM
I am looking for a conversion kit for my 2004 Drifter. I love riding her but medical issues prevent me from spending much time riding plus I'm not ready to give it up.
Lehman has a kit that will work all a kit for the Indian motorcycle. I'm wanting to keep the iconic fenders but am told the fenders won't interchange.

Does anyone have any ideas on where I might find a kit!

Now that's a tough one.
You will need a trike kit designed for the Vulcan series bikes.
Fenders will probably need to be custom made or modified.
If you do it, you may be the first, or only one!

;) Have you thought of a side hack?

As far as I can see, somebody else has already done that mod.
Take a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq-sFgCSgK0
And there are many companies that sell trike kits for the Drifter.
Here's MTCVoyager: http://www.mtcvoyager.com/kits-available/.
Hope this helps...

Fenders could be handled with some light custom work: http://www.badassglass.us/fenders.html
