Title: Batwing fairing for 2006 800 drifter
Post by: C Dills on April 14, 2016, 19:15:39 PM
I am wanting to put a batwing front fairing on my 2006 800 drifter, but I haven't been able to find one. I can find all kinds that fit the 1500 but not my 800.
does anyone know where I can find one?

If I'm not mistakin', the 1500 and the 800 have the same front end...
But I think someone else on this Forum, much much smarter than me, will give you a sure shot!

The 1500 and the 800 use the same front forks, so I'm told.

What about one for the Vulcan 800 classic or 1600 classic and modifying it to fit?
has anyone put one on an 800 drifter? if so, which one did you use?

The 1500 and the 800 Drifters use the same forks, and those forks are "virtually" identical to the 1500 Classic F.I. model.  There's a couple of mounting tabs that are different and such.

I don't know about the 800 Classic, but I believe the 1600 is a very different animal.
