Title: mods
Post by: CDNRatMan on March 11, 2016, 21:33:02 PM
I have started a section in my gallery of all the mods I have done on my 800 if anyone is interested. Perhaps others should do this so people have a place to go to see what mods others have done...Just an idea......I have 40 mods as of today and a few not posted yet....and one secret that will be unveiled at Drift Away WI this summer.....

Thanks guys and if you notice I did credit people who gave me the ideas, and that is what is so much fun here to see ideas and learn. Even at Drift In to see all the bikes and listen to the stories of what people did to their bikes and how they did it.
here is some really remarkable people on this forum and some really cool skill sets. I have 2 major projects in the works still and hope to have them done by the time the snow has left.
TJ still have 4+ ft on the front lawn.......about 3" of sand and salt on the roads yet, so lots of time yet........

;) if you did you would be in the poor house with me.......... remember I retired in 92 after 10 years of no pay raises, and that is what my pension was based on........I know a bunch of guys who worked for CN, CP, and ONR so I see what they are getting and if I had their pensions I would be living rich like them......

Toronto Swap met in April.......

Those are some great mods.  Good idea to put a small bag on the crash bars--would not have thought of that.  Also, is the rectifier cover something you bought or custom built?

The rectifier cover was bought from a gentleman who built a bunch of them and was selling them on the UK site. As of the other day he has decided to give it up and he said he was going to send me a few to sell for him. Once I get them I have promised 2 for people, and if there is more I can let you know, I am still waiting for his prices so I'll let you know.

okay, and if/when you run out of stock, maybe just add a couple dimensions in the pics and we can make our own.
