Smile, youre looking at a Fiber Laser that can mark or cut text to the size of .3 millimeter ( tiny ) and its cutting a logo for a group called A Girl with a Gun on an AR 15 lower they will assemble and raffle.

I recognized the lower, just didn't know what all the flashing lights were all about.  :o  Thought maybe it was special effects or something...  Sure is special, anyway!

Spectacular results...might I suggest you experiment with a dash plate for a 1500....there are some out there, but mainly for the J models. The R ones are not really available...

---   Shhhh....    We're working on it, Troll... :)

That is truly amazing.   .3 MM lettering....     300 micrometers (um) - that's about .012".....    Let's see, a human hair (thickness) is 100 um (.004") and a single pixel on a 1024×768 screen is about 340 um (......013")

I would think that could come in handy for theft protection or some type of top-secret applications....       Come to think of it, I think directions sheets for the last couple of aftermarket parts I got MAY have been printed that way!!!  :o

Would any one have a tank bezel they could scan for me with a rule in the picture? I have a 1999 1500 and want to make a replacement to get rid of the Kawa one. Just hate to take my bike out of service by removing the one on the bike til I can swap it out - TX Dubliner

I just took the stock one out, painted the backside semi-gloss black, and glued it back in place black side up.

Mine is off the bike, right now, as I had one made at a local trophy shop, but I'm not really all that thrilled with it. What resolution would you want for a scan?

600 dpi with an inch scale/ruler in the scan if you could, That would be awesome - Thank you.
