Perhaps since the 1500's are rare to begin with and getting rarer, perhaps there should be a thread for Drifters for sale on here. I don't mean one that members personally being sold. ones listed on local craigslist, Offer up etc.
I know of three here in PHX AZ for sale all low mile bikes and seems to be excellently maintained. Ranging from 4500 to 6500 OBO. I even know of an 800 with just 6000 miles for 4500.
There is such a place... If you look down towards the bottom of the forum, there is a section called "Classifieds" and within that, "Off forum sales". There are boards in there for both Ebay and Craigslist. Folks have listed links to such bikes for sale in there. That would be a great place to list your 1500s you find.

Oh, I agree but the thread subject is "Finding 1500's". I didn't pay attention to detail :-(
