On March 1st, we got 6" of new snow, the temps went down to about 0 (F)....and then the jet stream shifted, and it all melted in about 2 days...Had the W out the other day, today I put a few on the Drifter....Ran to the gas station, and when I got back, I snapped that last picture...so it begins!
I hope we don't get snookered by this great weather. Will I jinx things if I put the snowblower away for the season? :o
8) ::) we have been under a weather storm warning for 2 days now and nothing, yesterday we had a really nice dusting of snow, nothing since so waiting.......
Yeah, well I was out in 60° weather for a while on Tuesday. Series of shots after that are from Wed. at about 6 am till Thursday at about the same time....River was high before the snow, going to be a lot higher after it melts. Supposed to be 45° later today and tomorrow, with rain on Saturday.
SNOW!!!!!
I haven't worn a coat in weeks!
I'm going to have to mow the lawn this weekend!
You guys need to move south! ;D
:o he does live way the hell0 and gone down south that man......... ::)
Not nearly far enough apparently!
That puts an exclamation point on how far north you are!
1827 and we are having another winter storm warning and the visibility is really bad, and roads are ice and snow covered feels like winter again.......
You are getting what we got...usually it's the other way around....
:o We should send it all to PC for his enjoyment.......
Yup, got my new tags for my '99'er today. My Australian sheepskin butt divot came Tuesday for my springer seat, battery is charged up, gas tank is full, new plugs, fresh oil and.......it's snowing. Yippee!

PC is crowing once again.......let him have his fun.......

A little something for everybody!
Got out today for a little while. Looked pretty nice, but the wind was quite nasty...Rode about 50 miles before my hands started to freeze up.....
Yeah, it was a "chilly" 70F here today.
Been raining since 1800 and have a rainfall warning in effect. This will help melt all the snow sooner and clean off the road salt and sand so we shall be out soon.......
Soon?
I've been riding without a jacket for weeks!
You need to move south my man!
;) Good for you, you are so blessed.............
You could be too!
8) 2 full days of rain now and the snow is melting and the salt and sand is being washed away, the grass is showing green under the snow. Life is good.
I made an "Executive" decision yesterday and put away the snow blower. :o
I was going to do that today, but when it started to snow I decided to wait......another weekend or so.....
Fog and ice this morning, snow and rain this afternoon...but Sunday is supposed to be pretty nice...
Let's hope we don't jinx things now. :o

Too late!
They got me!
Yesterday we had 65mph winds and snow that was going sideways! Strange thing was, it was 55F when it was snowing! Never seen anything like it!
had 3" of snow......so I feel right on the mark...spring is coming.......
April fools day wasn't bad, wasn't great, but it was ok. Saw some bikes out while I was working, and I actually had the heat off in the car...April 2nd was quite another story...20°. 50 mph winds and snow...blew the thermometer off my tree in the back yard! Today, it was 29° this early morning, but by about 10, it was in the 40s....Rode up to the ABATE meeting, now I have about 150 miles on this year...70° or so this afternoon! Tomorrow, back to winter....
Last night we had rain and the 50mph wind. The power went out three times.
Yesterday it was around 45 or so, and sunny. Then the temps dropped to about 35 and we got terrible winds, 30 mph w/ 50 mph gusts. Lost part of a bartlett pear tree-- right in the drive way. Then the sleet came, it was sleeting sideways for several minutes. Hard to believe after all that the sun tried to come out, but it was windy until around midnight.
....close call with the tree and my truck...
Crazy weather this week, that's for sure!
TODAY :-X :'(
gloat PC gloat all you want.......
Nasty, nasty, nasty!
I got the warmer form of that.......rain!
18" as of about an hour ago and still falling.......so much for an early spring.......
HOLY COW!!!!!!
You need to ..........never mind! If you don't already know by now.......
both major highways in and out of the city were closed for most of the morning one due to a really bad car accident and the one from the north was due to white out conditions. South bound highway was closed due to super icy conditions but all were opened after about 1300.......
My grass is already too long. I'm going to have to cut it tomorrow before the neighbors start complaining. [rubs it in] :o
;) we can have a talk at Coulee Cruzin' WI and see what is what......lol....

It takes that long to get there?
Oh yeah.......forgot......dog sleds. MUSH!!!! ;D
Well, I ended up jinxing things by putting the snow blower away. Got a few inches of snow today. AAAAARGH! >:( :( :o
My snow blower is always ready...I even keep a snow shovel by the door....

no I just did not take my laptop with me so would have been off line, it is a 5 hour drive from here to Toronto in Southern Ontario. I know you have no concept of Canadian geography........
Quote.....in July!
who said anything about July it is still April.....you need to learn to read better........poor man......
Snowed on my way to work this morning... Sigh. I haven't had a lot of incentive to put my bike back together in my unheated garage yet.
Well if it was in the proper place like a heated living room you might want to spend more time tweaking on it and making ready for when the snow is gone.......
Forget the living room!
Let's Ride!
Snow last weekend, rain in the middle of the week, now it's sunny and 70.....go figure. Out to the range on the bike...two birds with one stone, so to speak. Put 100 rounds through my carbine, and 25 through the judge....20 miles to the range, and the some back roading...Broke the 200 mile mark today
