Well went down for this event on Friday morning. After all the hype, and all the "stuff" my 2 friends and I had been told it was a complete and total let down. Expectations were high driving down, had my list of parts people were looking for, had lots of cash in my wallet......all for nothing.
All the major brands of bike were present, Guzzi, Ducati, Kawasaki, Honda, Indian, H-D, KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki, Triumph. There was very few vendors. Moto Van was present but I tried to purchase a helmet, and was told to go to the local dealer's and buy from them, so no show price.
I did have a very interesting and rewarding chat with the Metz tire guy, he was very well versed in his product. I think that was actually the second best part of the day for myself. The best part of the show was the "Freedom Simulator 5000" which I got to try out and enjoy the awesome feeling of total freedom.

:o best part of the show was as I said the "Freedom Simulator 5000" this brain child of a local lad from Toronto was simple awesome. I was really curious as to the cost of one, but I am sure that my 2 really cool buddies on the forum could help me build one, or at least Jaglite could with a bit of pleading......so 49 you and GB can build on of these puppies......this lady was enjoying it......so did I.....
What did you think of the Guzzi Eldorado?
Well I was thinking that it still looks like the 1980's California they used to have. I sat on it and it felt really comfortable, not as low as some of the Harley's I sat on that evening. But with a 30" inseam I did not find it bad. I would have liked to see it with a wind screen to see how that would look. After the Drifter I would take one if I could, a test ride would have been awesome.
