I just bought a drifter 800 and I'm looking for an Indian replica fender light. I have found a few on eBay, but the ads do not say if they will fit the drifter. Does anyone know where to buy a light?
Thanks for your help,
Terry

I been thinking of getting this light.
It looks different then others I've seen and great price.
Basically, there are 2 versions of that light. The one in the link is the more ornate one, while a more art deco style one is also available.

Both fit the Drifter pretty well. A foam rubber gasket will soak up any slight inconsistencies in curvature.
That takes care of the aftermarket. Genuine Indian ones go for big bucks (and the '53 Chiefs look like the art deco repo's), but they have glass "faces" that can be had in colors.
If colors are something you want, you can do that with the repro ones as well with a colored led. I'm using an led bulb in mine that fits the standard bulb socket.
Many of the aftermarket sources got shut down after Polaris bought Indian. We used to sell a version here, but our supplier was forced to stop making them. These are now standard Indian OEM parts, so there are plenty of them around.
We have some mod instructions for installation as well.

Thanks for the replies.
More than likely you can make just about any light fit if you don't mind dry-fitting it by hand filing it as you go. That, and the rubber gasket (as mentioned above) will get you a nice flush fit.
