Title: New stuff for ma-deuce
Post by: mittico68 on August 21, 2015, 06:07:30 AM
I've just purchased on ebay this 2 passenger F&S floorboards (see pics).
They're foldable and black powder coated: one has got a scratch, but I think it won't be such a great pity, in face of their good price ($85 + shipping fees)... ;)

Those are hard to find and really rare in Black. I got mine and then powder coated them, so now you will mount them and then step back and look really close at your bike. The front floorboards are aluminum coloured, darn a trip to the powder coating place to get them done.

Also be really careful when you take them apart to clean and spruce them up or to powder coat them you do not lose the little nylon ball that holds them in the upright position, it is spring loaded and it will fly across the room like nobody's business and be gone.....lol..... I did find mine, and then a royal pain to get them back in place. But good find really.

Thanx guys.
And here's my bike with the rear floorboards mounted up (see pics - ooops, they're lying to the left side: dunno why!).
Mr. RatMan, I've already noticed the not-so-nice contrast between rear and front boards, so I'm thinkin' about purchasing black front ones. And to tell you the truth, I've already found them on ebay (and they're F&S too)...
The only remora is the awareness that my wife would kill me, if only she knew my intentions!  :o
Maybe, I should devise a plan to keep her away... ::)

P.S.: I had to remove the rear crashbars that were on (Ted's design), because they use the same hanging of the passenger floorboards.
Too bad! I really like them and that indian retro-style they give to the bike...
Sooo, now I'm starting to plan some mods, just to be able to keep them on together with the passenger floorboards.
A new challenge for next winter nights! ;)

Ok so now you will also notice you do not have easy access to your tool box.

Now get them boards before they are gone.......that added touch speaks class.

Yes I already did. Just because of a kind post of yours.

Yeah, you're absolutely right! The only (real) reason why I haven't grab them yet, is because I was tryin' to buy some california style front boards I saw a few months ago on ebay: but they were too much pricey and, most of all, now are just gone!
Btw, if someone is interested on purchasing those F&S black floorboards, here's the link:
