While looking for stuff to help Nanook with his electrical problem I found this in the ref section and had to read it twice, my 800 does not have a center stand, so wonder were this came from:
It doesn't mean a center stand is installed. It means any stand used to level the bike - at least that is what I think.
Well most stands I have seen will seem to tilt the bike forward and have the rear wheel off the ground and the front on the ground. But ok I'll buy your version.....lol....
Or it could just be a typo. When they wrote the specs for the manual, I'm guessing some engineer used a previous version for a template..... maybe it had "center" stand, and they just didn't catch it to change it.
And then there is the translation factor to consider.
