Hello All...I came across a 2001 Canadian Kawasaki price list and Vulcan series brochure:

Drifter 1500...16,199.00
Vulcan 1500...14,699.00

Drifter 800...10,499.00
Vulcan 800... 8,299.00

So you can see they were worth more than a standard Vulcan.
When I bought mine from the original owner with 6,000 Klms he said he paid over 12K for it with leather bags and an unusual front crash bar ( I haven't seen another like it)...KEN.

As I was looking for a pic of the crash bar I came across this pic from Drifter Riders..Mittico68 Machine
and its the same as mine...KEN.

That is the same front engine guard I have on my 800 and I bought mine from Belgium.
