Just added some chrome trim to dress up the drifter
Cool beast! 8)
I just bought last week on e-bay a couple of tank decals like yours and they're on the way...
I used black on a red bike and it sure makes it look finished....and a fun project.
Yeah man my second set of tank decals. First ones were to plain. Love these alot more. Really stand out!
Another Drifter 800 with what seem to be dual exhausts...
How are you guys doing it!?!?
Looking good. The duals do look great.
did someone mentioned pictures?? Great looking scoot.
Yup true duals gies
Sturgis 2012
Nice ride Hog77el...are those bazooka mufflers from Japan? They look great....how do you like the sound? Are they baffled? Again nice duals.
No they are actually fishtail mufflers off of my brothers 1995 Harley Davidson FLSTN. Pretty much straight thru so good sound man!
nice!
I have tank decals on the way and wanted to know the best way to get them on straight. Should I use painter's masking tape for lines? Also, there is an aftermarket decal on the tank and I don't know what to use to remove it without hurting the paint. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I just joined this forum after buying a 2003 Drifter 800 from an estate with 1868 miles; the bike didn't move for 7 years. I have been adding SeaFoam to each tank of gas and it keeps running better all the time. I don't think I will remove the carb to clean it at this rate.
Might want to start your own thread on this but:
Not sure how the badges are mounted but try some fishing line and saw through what is holding it in place, Add some seafoam into the crankcase, go for a nice easy run and then do an oil change and change the filter also, be surprised on the difference it can have on the bike.
Oh and Welcome...now get some pictures up before the picture hounds jump you....
