I decided to go to a local hot rod and bike show that benefited charity. I've never entered my bike in a show before, so this was all new to me. I met some of the other bike contestants there and we chatted a bit. Then it was time for the awards. I saw awards go to other bikes and thought I never had a chance. Then at the end, the announcer said "For Best In Show in the Motorcycle category, we have a 2001 Kawasaki Drifter". I almost fell over when I heard the announcement.
Okay. . . about the cheating part. I showed up with a Drifter, so there was no way any other bike could have won.
Best in show........man, that rocks! Big Congrats!
8) well congrats and with all the wives to polish it no wonder it won......

Man, you're right!
Just like stealin' to a child... ;)
Maybe it might have been different if one of us drifter fellas had participated... ::)
Now that these have become "collectable" and "unique", and the generation that recognizes them is mostly gone, we can probably expect to win more...what sucks is when we'll be in the "antique" class

My wife already tells me I'm an antique.......oh wait, you meant the bike!
I did mean the bike, we all fall into that class already....
lol
;) You and PC might fall into that class already along with GB but some of us youngsters are a long way off yet......
