Title: Front Hub Cover
Post by: CDNRatMan on April 03, 2015, 20:59:45 PM
My final project for the winter is now done and finished. Many thanks to Malcolm of the VOGUK forum for getting this for me, it took a long time but I waited and he came through, he is going to be making a few more so if you are interested let me know I will send on your request to him or you can contact him yourself on the UK forum.

;) FYI the front brake caliper needs to come off so you can get the wheel off and out of the fender to do the work. So if you lay things out left to right it goes back right to left and no left over parts......

pay no attention to the fat guy in the corner taking pictures.......

Ratman: Nice proportions....not too big. Very nice installation.

I could be interested in one if you are starting a list. Would like to know the price...are you going to disclose details or should I send you a pm?

Again, looks just right to me.

Good things come to those with patience...Looks good, too bad this isn't a more widely available option. I used a Nomad speedo drive without the sleeve inside, and a cover for a Classic, but these parts are getting hard to find, too

kw, I will ask Malcolm once he is back from where ever it was he want to hide for a few days. I'll get a price and let people know, shipping might be a bit off because of location.

Sounds good. Again, looks like a quality piece, nicely designed to fit.

I did have to shave an 8th of an inch off the front to make it fit properly, but I have told Malcolm that and I'll know if he did it to the batch of them. It was easy enough to have done, but you who have a complete shop with all the tools and stuff can do it yourself.......

thanks I think now that I see it, it is really a nice finishing piece and surprised more bikes don't have them.

Looks good! How does the speedo cable route through the hub cap?

It does not go through the hub cover it is all on the outside. The hub cover in this case is mounted to the front hub.
