Title: RIP Terry Pratchett
Post by: John Hopkins on March 12, 2015, 21:32:05 PM
Terry has gone to meet his gods, age 66.. I am saddened, I wanted him to get better, I'm glad he is dead, he didn't want to turn into a vegetable he wanted to die with dignity, and from the news reports I think he did.

I shall miss all of his stories, the ones he could have written most of all, I think I may have read everything he wrote.

My heart goes out to his family who had to suffer the last bit, poor Terry would not have known much about it, The pain they are suffering now will go on for many years, but I would hope that if there is any form of afterlife, Terry spends it with his good friends on the Diskworld.

Rest in peace Terry Pratchett.

John.

RIP.

Some of us know Sir Terry for his fantasy/satirical comic series Discworld.

I liked some of his books, and enjoyed his wit.

(These may not be exact)

It's not worth doing something unless its something someone somewhere would much rather you weren't doing.
The problem with having an open mind is that someone will insist upon trying to put things into it...
They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not nearly so bad as having a lot of ignorance.

Thanks to Sir Terry, we now know that in addition to God and Dr. Who, Death also rides a Triumph.
