So while riding home in a rain storm last night i apparently lost my entire tail light. The entire housing with the license plate light was gone when i got home from work no clue how long it was gone or where it fell off or wtf!!?! But it terrifying tp think of riding in a low visibility rain storm with my lights missing. Have any of you guys ever lost parts while put on a ride?
Many years ago I lost the right mirror (together with its bracket) of ma-deuce, while I was ridin' on a highway...
Fortunately, nobody was drivin' behind me, so the mirror didn't hurt nothing (I hope... :o).
But I couldn't be able to get it back, unless of stoppin' the bike and walk back lookin' around for almost a mile (while cars & trucks were speedin' on the road)...
So, since that day my bike has got only the left mirror on (and I like it...), even though that's illegal and, yes I know, most of all dangerous...
Used to happen all the time, but I don't have a Harley any more! ;)
PC you beat me to it.......
;D
They keep settin' 'em up, and I keep knockin' 'em back down!
I used to have this BSA.....but it was easy to retrace the path, just follow the oil drips
;) Hey Kawasaki.addict, they have this product on the market, and .........well it might not be sold in your state because it might cause cancer in your state, but we can buy up north here called locktite comes in red or blue and works wonders and parts do not fall off your bike, and most H-D riders have a couple of buckets of the stuff around.......
DICK! Lol yeah i am sure it causes cancer bc every thing including air causes cancer in this worthless state lol. Yes i have blue loctite on the bolts i think i over tightened them an the snapped with the vibration. I wish i had gotten your pm before i bought another light but my phone had other plans for me i guess
