In June I installed a new Fan Switch, worked fine up until a month ago.
Now the Fan is not working, I jumped the two connectors and it seems to be blowing the fan fuse.
I was advised to check the fan by adding in an inline 10amp fuse and run off the battery. If the fuse blows, the fan is bad or going?
Any other ideas on this? The bike's red warning light came on while at a light, pulled over for a few minutes, then when on open road the light does not come on again.

Thanks, appreciate the comment. After looking over the bike, seems I should remove the tank and plastic neck covering to access the connectors and wiring, would you agree?
The wiring for the fan is attached to the right frame tube. The rest of it is attached on the back of the junction/fuse box, and runs along the frame backbone. I would start by disconnecting the fan plug from the chassis harness and checking for it still blowing the fuse. One thing I've seen this time of year is debris keeping the fan from turning. I had some squirrels put walnuts in my fan shroud...
