I have the opportunity to purchase a engine guard from a 2002 Classic, does anyone currently have one on there bike as I would love to see what they actually look like mounted as this one is the more square style that bolts in 4 spots.
Kind of looks like the one Greenbarn has on his 1500.
I have a Fire and Steel guard on my 01. It looks different than the one on the Classic that you posted.
the one on Greenbars is very similar but the bottom is open as opposed to closed loop all the way around but it does help me visualize it because it is almost exactly tht e same thank you very much.
That does look similar to mine. There are more pics in my gallery. I don't know what brand it is, though. PO- installed.
Be careful when fitting an engine guard, mine scraped the ground before the floorboards when I was cornering..I had to remove it..

Oh :o , well if Greenbarn or anyone else sporting similar bars could offer feedback on that tid bit, bars scraping b4 floor boards that would be a deciding actor for sure.

My floorboards hit WAY before my crash bar. Lots of clearance.
