Has anyone seen the new Indian Scout?

That's kind of stylish. I think I like that better than their Chief or Chieftain models. Makes me think of putting blackwalls back on the 800 when I buy tires....
Weird... no don't like it better than the big-fendered Indians. This could grow on me, however. Given time to modify and personalize. Starts at about$11,000... good price point.
I am very impressed with Indian's offerings overall. There are parts I don't like on each of them, but overall they're nice and seem to be priced at or below the competition but are very well optioned. This one is no different. The water cooling is nice because of the lower temps. And it's hard to argue with a 100 hp engine in a bike that weighs less than a 1200 sportster at roughly the same price. I bet it is fast too. I like it though. If Indian never went belly up, it's what I imagine something like the Scout would have evolved into over the years.
When I first looked at it, I thought,;EEEEEWWWWW! But, the more I look at it, the more I like it. As Chief says, it could grow on a person. The more "goodies" that are made for it, the more a person could do to "personalize"it, plus home-built goodies. Could end up looking pretty slick. Plus, like has been implied, thats a lot of ponies doing the work..... hmm.....not where did I leave that piggy bank..... :D
Ya wanna see a "new" SCOUT?
Now why couldn't Indian do something like that???

That would require a little creativity. That bike will be at Drift-In this year...belongs to Hillbilly's Wife, Debbie. It's named "OLIVE" Here's the other side and a close up of her tank badge...SKAWT
Nice...pardon my ignorance, but what does "SKAWT" stand for?
S-kaw-T Scout....
Kool. I like it. And I still think that Drifter and all Drifters beat the new Indian all hollow!
