Did the Law Enforcement Torch Ride for Special Olympics yeasterday and this beauty was in the pack.
'48? See there are some out there that people actually ride!
Close, 47, great eye Troll. Yeah the guy rides it everywhere. Does lots of big runs with it. Was pretty much covered in oil though lol.
Very cool and impressive, were did the ride actually go?
Sweetness!
Left from Ottawa, to Smiths Falls with a big loop around Perth and Portland back to Smith Falls where we had a BBQ and rides from Kingston and Cornwall joined us.
ok so perhaps it should be on the agenda for next summer.
that is a really nice area to ride around in.
We have 14 rides in Ontario this year, including one "near" you in Timmins next month. Would love if you came down for either the Kingston or Ottawa run. This is a really great cause and there are events all over North America.

The Timmins ride this year is out, and it is like a 4 day event, but next summer the Kingston ride might be a fun thing to do, I am sure I can get my Brother in Law to join us too. That is just a day down the ride and a day home again for me. Something to consider.
Wow, Moose, that's really cool. That's what I was looking for before I found the Drifter. Just a lot more than I wanted to spend. That's really cool.
man if I had your money I would be burning mine and moosewings....
Better keep yours... mine would make too small a fire. Like I said, if I had the money, I'd have bought an old Indian.
Turns out, I think I'm better off with a Drifter. But I WOULD still like to have an old Indian... Maybe if you leave me in your will, Ratman...
Those old Indians look great, but sometimes it is better to admire someone else's bike than to actually own one..
The drifter is a copy of the Indian, but in my opinion it is a better bike than the original, I've ridden through deep mud, across steep mountain passes, through pouring rain, spent a couple of hours at walking pace in funeral processions in hot sun, ridden highways and pathways and all I have to do is wash it down, check the oil, coolant and tire pressures and it is ready to ride another thousand miles..
I love to see the old bikes, I just don't want to own one..
John.
There was actually a 40's vintage Indian basket case, literally, that went on eBay for about a grand last winter, was guaranteed all parts were present. I was surprised. Would be nice to have but I need to have something I can ride everyday.
