Took our grandson on the boat last week and when I got out of the boat on to the beach, don't ask me how, but I managed to tear the muscles in the back of my left leg. (which I found out at the hospital) Thought that would be the end of my riding season, but, managed to sneak out for a ride this afternoon. About 75 miles or so, give or take. Nice lake with a really nice campsite called McLeod Lake. Place we stopped at is called Whiskers Bay. Nice ride, about 75F or so, slight breeze to keep the airborne carnivores someone laughingly named "Mosquitoes" away. Just had to take this pic so no one could say "IT AIN'T REAL WITHOUT PICS!" :D
Nice view, 49. The lake don't look half bad, either! ;D

and our choices are as follows
1. old age
2. out of shape
3. all of the above
and we will pick.......and did you take said grandson for this ride too..........
Glad you were able to get out. Man, I'd go crazy if I had to miss a whole riding season.
Yes, PC, that is exactly where my thoughts were; I was thinking no more riding this summer; but, 'twas good to get out.
Ratman, it could be old age or out of shape, but the out of shape doesn't hold water......I mean, come on, round is a shape.......isn't it? ;D
Round is a wonderful shape......however........
it sucks getting old when you have trouble doing things you did 15 years ago. Need help to do certain things, or just getting tired easier.

I've got a flash for you pal: it sucks not being able to do things I could do a year ago! That being said, life is good. :D
