Title: Chinese GoPro copy
Post by: John Hopkins on June 25, 2014, 20:00:07 PM
I can only see one difference between this and the GOPRO and that is the price..SJ4000 from foxoffer.com..

You can see a full review on  http://www.techmoan.com

so what do you gopro owners really think?

funny thing is the GoPro is made in China..The one in your link doesn't even resemble it in the least.  Motorcycle Consumer News did a comparo of the 4 most common action cameras for this month's issue. They basically admitted the GoPro deserves it's place at the top of the food chain.

Not having seen either of them 'in the flesh' I have no Idea..but I have heard a lot of bikers over here who have both, and they say there is not much difference in the quality..

I was not very impressed with the fisheye quality of the lens on the cheap one..but it is under a quarter of the price of a gopro 3 over here and it has a built in screen included in the price..

so how does the picture compare..

I don't like the wide screen, either, so I have mine set for a "narrow" field of view. The 12 Mpixel lens on the GoPro is the standard against all others are judged. I have a Hero 2, not a 3, but I'm really happy with it. I have about 4 hours battery life, with a 32 GByte SD card....
