Title: The first day of Summer
Post by: Troll on June 21, 2014, 16:16:34 PM
Looked like thunderstorms, again. I went grocery shopping this morning (people just marvel at how much stuff you can pack away on a bike), but it didn't rain. The sky started to clear to the North, so I went for a little putt. 70 miles up the River to Winona, MN, and back down on the Minnesota side. Got a nice shot of a rock they call "sugar loaf"...don't know why, but they do. The River is still quite high, especially for this time of year!

  Nice pictures....

I did the Relay for Life walk last night, and left at 0530, it was at false dawn and the ride home was so peaceful so quiet, I took the long way home along the lake were it was chilly but it was so serene, it was a perfect way to end such an event, came home was getting to lay down and the power went out....was too quiet to sleep.....
