Title: Singh saddle arrived!!
Post by: Dubliner on June 21, 2014, 11:59:00 AM
How do I get the front bolt on the factory seat undone? 1500 factory single. And how do I rotate the pic. Sorry about that.   Never mind, it just pops off figured it out. Now to install it.

Git out your 12mm socket wrench and just unscrew it. The bolt, washers and the rubber bushings are all separate parts.

To rotate a pic, go to your "My Pictures" folder and find the pic.  Now right click on it and you'll see "Rotate Clockwise" and "Rotate Counterclockwise".  If the pic is upside down, just rotate it twice.

Hope this works. I installed 2" springs as I didn't want too much height. I'll still have to make a plate to cover battery. Looks great I think and just took it out for a spin. Takes a little getting used to but you feel  more " down in the stirrups" as they say.

Just noticed as I was so excited to get the saddle on. Does anyone want to trade a black tank bib, fender skirt & tool roll for a brown one? Actually the other way round.

...or rises to the occasion...very nice look btw. I would like a different saddle for my 1500, but it's all about the almighty dollar....which is kind of scarce around here just now... :(

Ironraven. It's certainly firmer than the factory and I only used 2" springs but it's pretty good. Haven't gone out on it for very long yet though.
Drift. Yes that would be a good idea except I have a buddy who has a leather business and he got a hide of the same stuff so all is well.
