Title: New GoPro mount again...
Post by: Troll on May 30, 2014, 14:38:10 PM
I got a Chinese made GoPro roll bar mount and I tried it 3 different places on the bike, this afternoon. $5 with free shipping, but it took over a month to get here...oh, well, it's here now, and I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised at the results, I know I was...and it will give you a little insight into how your suspension works. I'll post a Picasa link when I get done editing the raw video....

This isn't going to give me motion-sickness watching the video, is it???

A sure fire cure for motion sickness is to attach a static strap to the vehicle, because the majority of people suffering from "car sickness" or motion sickness is from the static electricity generated by the tires, and the static strap will eliminate this........or in your case take your gravoal.

The jello effect seems to be cured for the most part.  As far as facing forward, it seems that a down low mounting works, but it doesn't give the watcher the feeling of being in the saddle.  Maybe mounting it on the light bar next to the headlight would give the solid anchor point it needs while giving a more "rider" experience to the viewer?

I also had it on the r/f turn signal stalk...I haven't edited that one yet. Basically, I'm just really surprised it works as well as it does...

I may have finally beaten the high frequency vibration of the "W"!
And now for something ENTIRELY different: https://picasaweb.google.com/109550952480484427597/June5201407#6021591694148461986
