Title: my hand painted headress
Post by: darkdrifter on May 26, 2014, 22:53:42 PM

since the drifter was intended to be for my girlfriend, and then it wasn't....and now it is again  ::)...... I just recently had the headress handpainted on by a friend of mine.  He changed the face to a female and added the female-ish ear-rings.
I thought it was a nice touch and wanted to share a pic of it on the forum.

That looks pretty good, darkdrifter.   Very fitting for a female rider.

thanks!
I had grabbed a spare tank off ebay from a 02 800 vulcan classic.  The only differance in that tank I saw was the extra vent port on the bottom for the overflow....that is.... until I went to swap the fuel cap  >:(    then I discovered that my gas cap was alot smaller.
So I ordered a brand new one for that year tank and luckily the lock cylinder was a direct swap

Nice job, just enough of a change to make it personal, but not enough to make it obvious.
