I have a solo seat on my 01. I recently found a two up seat without the seat rail or the bracket to mount to the bike.
Does the two up seat mount to the same hardware that my solo seat uses? If I do need additional hardware, does anyone have some stock two up hardware for sale?
Here is all that's needed to do the 2up setup on the stock seat: http://www.ronayers.com/Seat-C409759.aspx

Thank you for that parts break down. I guess when I bought the two up seat for $75 without the hardware, I didn't get the best deal out there.
So buying some two up hardware is in my future if I wish to utilize it.
Hi Larry, I sold my 2 up a few years ago,and couldn't find the hardware to send with it, so I had a guy make me some. Not much to it. If you know anyone that can fab worth a damn, jut get some made.

Did you ever find the hardware? And if you did, did you keep it around? I would come visiting again if you had some for sale.
Larry, No I never did find it. I think it must have got lost in a move is all I can figure. The guy that made me some only lives about 35 mi. from here though. I will tell ya how to get there when you stop by ! Wish I could remember what he charged me to fab the brackets. Classic cass of CRS.
I just installed a custom solo on mine. I hate the way the stock 2-up seat looked on I wasn't a big fan of the aftermarket solos for the drifter so I bought a spring solo and fabbed up my own mounting brackets. I love the way it looks now and it lowered the seat height about 6 inches.

I don't like the looks of the two up either, but I would like the option to take the Drifter and my girl friend from time to time. Since I sold the Goldwing, the Silverwing is my only option for two up riding now. Four bolts to put on the two up seat is not the end of the world.
I have acquired a two up seat, but still need the hardware for it.
I just bought a two up seat, and luckily got all the hardware, including the grab bar. I got it so my wife could ride with me. I do agree though, I'm not huge on the looks. It isn't horrible, but I definitely like my solo Corbin a lot better. I need to get the rest of the bolts for it, so I haven't ridden it yet but I am fairly confident that my Corbin will be much more comfortable as well. It is nice to have the option to carry another person with just a few bolts though. And it'll give me a place to strap stuff if I need to carry anything.
I gave up on the 2up option and sold the seat.
I would spring for a single corbin.
I still have a 2 up with the grab bar an ;)d YES ALL the hardware is there
