Well, Ratman doesn't have to worry about riding season until the forth Tuesday in July, from 3:30pm until 3:40pm.  After that it's time to pack it up for winter again.  Still, that's better then 49.  49 almost gets the ice chipped off of the garage door to open it when the arctic winds drive him back inside! :D

Gonna change my oil /filter tomorrow...they are saying 65 Sunday.

;)Pilgrim you are close it is not on the couch, because I don't own one, takes up too much room and the room is saved for the bike to sit during the winter.

PC I'll get a few weeks riding in and I am going to enjoy every moment I can have, and I begrudge no one their riding time, so enjoy yours. 49 and I will make the most of each ride too.

Because of the short summer and the cold winters our government has changed the name from 'global warming' to 'Climate change' and we now have a new tax on all fuel called CCL or 'climate change levy' the annoying thing is that we already have a 20% tax called VAT 'value added tax' and they are adding the CCL after that so we now get taxed on a levy..The latest thing from the think tank government advisors is that people will not switch to electric vehicles until the cost of gas increases a lot more..we are already paying over $9.50 a gallon..

changed the oil in my riding mower, then changed the oil/filter in my Drifter...went for a nice ride. Rode by the local bike shop and they had Vega helmets marked down from $55 to $39 found one with a small chip in the paint and got it for$30.
My old helmet was getting loose, my head must be shrinkin'.
Good to be ridin'.  8)

you have a riding lawn mower, so that would mean you have a large yard, like a couple of acres. What type of oil did you use, in your bike. Was it the helmet a full face or a quarter or a half style helmet. Ride safe and enjoy the weather.....

I only have a little over 1/2 acre...just lazy. I can mow it in hour.
I used the Amsoil 10w40 with Kaw filter. Expensive but I get a 10% vet discount at my local shop.
Helmet is a Vega XTA half/ gloss black.

Thanks, I hope some warmer weather comes your way soon.
