Title: Shovel defeats phone
Post by: chief on February 18, 2014, 10:51:49 AM
I'm in the frozen north, lots of snow, staying near a university.

Looking out the window from the hotel I noticed a stuck vehicle. One girl got her SUV stuck. Two more girls came out to help her. They messed around, talked about itm spun the wheels. Three girls, vehicle still stuck. Two more girls join the group. They talk, they look, they spin the wheels. Five girls, vehicle still stuck. Two girls give up and go inside. Three girls, talk... still stuck. Two more give up... one girl on the phone, still stuck. A guy comes by... takes a look, grabs a shovel... digs, tells the girl which way to turn the wheels, pushes the SUV.  One guy... SUV no longer stuck.

Apparently, the shovel is more powerful than the telephone!

I can't help thinking that if I were a young girl student I would just pop the hood and look helpless..unless American men are different to Brits some horny male would soon stop to help..

And another thing, why is it when you ask a North American where he is from he says America, but south Americans are from Rio, or Panama, or Brazil, or Chile, but not America..

John.
