John.
What do I think? Creepy, but to each their own. It was this guys dream to do this, so good for him. What an amazing amount of coordination and work to get this funeral done. At least he started ahead of time!
;D
Have to agree with Cottonmouth. Kind of weird, kind of strange. Personally me, I would not want to be buried with my bike, I would like it to go on to someone one other who would appreciated it like I do and it would bring them the happiness and joy it has brought to me.
so who do I will it to........

Start looking at your list.....]
guess I got to start a: leave my bike to ......list....
now who needs,
who wants,
who deserves,
perhaps have my ashes poured into the engine guard or some part of the frame so I can ride with the new owner...................
I'd like to have it. I think it would make a wonderful "Scout" to my "Chief"...but I'll probably die before you, anyway!
Now that's livin'... ::)
Ok Troll right now you are # 1 on the leave my bike to list.......

Ok, so the Harley this guy buried himself with...how much would something like that be worth, assuming it was real clean, engine was good, and not buried 6' (1.8m) underground?
ok what is with the caption on that picture, that dude does not even look Canadian, we do not have hogs that big up here........and I was agreeing with you..........off the bus list........

Just checking on you, if you were paying attention. Now put me back on that !&?@#!#%&! list.
ok Cotton mouth back on the bus list........
I saw that Harley funeral - it made the news around here - he's only about 30 miles from here, I think. I thought it seems a shame to see a '67 Harley put in the ground - I thought surely one of his 2 sons would have liked to have it. I know I would, if it were my Dad. But anyway, his bike, his funeral - I guess if that's how he wants it.....
He's not the only one wanting to be on his bike at his funeral- My wife found this too....

If I wanted to be buried, I'd go with the MC hearse.
The hearst is pretty cool.
CM ...buddy if I am around I would be honoured to ride pulling your coffin with a set of wheels attached to the gravesite.........oh just leave enough funds to get me out there and back.......
We have a TV program over here called time team, where they dig up people who were buried over 1000 years ago and make up stories about how important they were..some were buried with their chariots, they never dig anyone up who was just ordinary, I think only important people died back then..I wonder what the people one or two thousand years in the future who dig him up will think of Harley Davidson man..Hmm..probably the inventor of the motorcycle, the dates right, carbon dating shows he was buried around the time the motorcycle was invented, give or take a couple of hundred years..

It will be easy for them to carbon date it. All they need to do is take a sample from the puddle of oil underneath it. ;)

Am I to understand that you are not feeling well?
As one of the older riders I don't fancy putting my name to a list that gives me no chance of winning.
John.
oh no and I am feeling fine ........just like to plan ahead.......now of course I'll be in the pot or ground and they have to come here to pick up the bike or pay for the shipping .......
But been thinking of having my ashes put into the frame so I can still ride with the bike......
That's a damn good idea...and the rattle of your gold teeth will drive the new owner CRAZY!!!!
ok Crazy man who is at the top of the list right now.......lol
Grave robbing could take on a whole new dimension.
