Merry Christmas guys, just an update and ? For yall. I love my 99 Drifter1500 i put over 7000 miles on it since april with only one problem clutch plug came loose ( after i tied a heavy bag around cables one night ) googled symtoms took me here and found problem fixed it on the spot in the parking lot THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAD IMPUT ON IT. Any ways i have put 10 inch mini apes, and a nomad seat on it putting metzler white walls on it next week also new light bar and new turn signals as well. My ? Is im putting new shocks on it next week also ........ can i put Arnott air shocks on it for MORE KOOL FACTOR or just some progressive shocks with nitrogen and what type of progrssive shocks im about 200lbs no passegers ever. Im even thinking about doing the conversion to duels with the info here. And can anyone (ie mak) or some else tell me how much to convert spoke to mean streak mags i see the the way to do it here on vdr but how much did it cost to do that? I have had alot of (NICE SCOOTER MAN) comments i get all warm and fuzzy inside but wait till i get it done with all acc and a new paint job . I have pics of the day i got her and will post before and after pics jn a week or 2 . This is a great forum with great info & smart guys .Ok let me have it

I can't tell you if those particular air shocks would work... for the most part as long as they are the right length and will fit at the connect points any shock would likely "work"... how well is a different story.
Folks have put 412's, 440's and a couple of others on.. I have 440's on mine... not for looks but because of the ride.
