Went out for a ride and got a couple of pictures.
Damn that is one beautiful bike!!! Looks like a beautiful day to ride as well. Thanks for the pics!
I love riding the mountains in Colorado...and the deserts, too! What's the name of that town on the eastern border with Kansas that has the watch tower? Have you ever gone to the 4 corners? Some of the most spectacular scenery in the world!
Four Corners was awesome, I also like Pikes Peak and the National forest in Divide.
Love the bike and the state. Lived there for 3 years back in the early 70's.
My mother cried when my dad came home and said we were transferred again and
going back to Newfoundland...
aralph
I miss the desert and mountains!
Beautiful bike!
aralph, dad was RCAF and you were in Colorado Springs? Going either to Gander or Goose Bay after CO ....lol....
Colorado is one beautiful state.....
Beautiful bike. Love the color. What color is that exactly? Love the tank emblem too... Might have to get me one of those for my 1500

Tank emblems are from Zambini Bros. I believe. They look like the same ones I have. http://www.zambinibros.com/

I noticed that everything on the Zambini website is free today!
Yea, those emblems are Zambini, the color is VW Texas Brown, I'm thinking this might have been the last ride of the season, I was going to go up to Aspen but chickened out. It was just a little too cold. Bike ran great as usual. I got some really cool mods I'm looking to do over the winter. Thanks for all the kind words.

OK, so as to continue with the "today's Ride" theme...here's mine from this morning. Went over to LaCrescent, MN and up on Apple Blossom Drive. As with everything around here, the River dominates the scenery....but it's not too bad. The temp. is going to be mid 70's until the weekend, when the bottom drops out...50's, rain, all that nasty stuff. I need to get 725 more miles this season....That last one is the way down the bluff to the river...it's all down hill from here!
Yep, now I remember why I picked those colors for my bike. Sweet looking ride Troll! I don't think there is a bad looking Drifter out there! I'll see if I can get some good shots of foliage with my bike in the foreground this weekend and post them here. Great time of year to ride!
Thanks... if winter didn't follow fall, I'd like fall a whole lot better...
Well, here's a couple more pics. of a morning adventure. I only need 650 more miles!!!!
