Title: Drifter 800 or 1500
Post by: dreaddrifter on August 16, 2013, 20:29:50 PM
I'm looking to buy a Drifter. Can you all give me an idea between the 800 and the 1500. I will be riding with my wife on the back most of the time. Whats the differences.

if you are 2 up most of the time and long rides then a 1500 would be more comfortable for sure.

It is a very good question, and has been discussed in some depth in a couple of previous threads.

These may assist you.

I ride the 800. But I'm keeping my eye open for the right 1500 when I find the right one at a good price I hope to buy it. My suggestion is to buy a 1500 if you plan to do mostly 2up riding. I have not been on a 1500 but I think it will handle the heavier loads better.
