The Commemorative Air Force (used to be the Confederate, but they have bowed to political correctness) has a B-25 Mitchell out at our wonderful puddle jumper airport. I went out and took a few (actually a LOT!) of pictures. I thought I'd share

God, I love those old WWII birds. Had this old army DC10 parked right behind me at the tie downs when I was flyin'. Used to give her the old walk around everytime I'd go for spin in mine. Someone up and bought her and she moved out. Very sad to see her go. Eveytime they come to our local airport I am always there gawking and enjoying their beauty!!!

Troll... The CAF changed their name? That sucks! This PC $*%# is starting to make me crazy! I knew some guys here in PA that were part of the CAF... They used to do the airshows at HIA back in the '90s til they shut the airshows down.
Very nice and good pictures thanks.
She's a real honey. not a speck of dirt anywhere... They were polishing the prop spinners when I got there. If you hurry, you can get down here for a ride. They are $350 for a 1/2 hour...doing it on Sat. and Sunday...If you're a good boy, maybe they'll let you fire the twin .50s in the tail ;D
Those gunners must have felt like a goldfish in a bowl.....zip for protection... amazing any of them survived it. Great pics, Troll, thanks for sharing.
