Title: Motorcycle safety course
Post by: Dubliner on June 30, 2013, 19:01:11 PM
Well guys I just finished the motorcycle safety course in Austin and I learned a lot ,it was really good. We all passed and thanks to Austin Moto for putting on the course, And thanks for the advice of the board members who told me to take it too. I'll be a bit nervous in traffic but I don't suppose there's any other way to do it. Thx Dubliner.

Dubliner, when I took the course, we had a few peeps drop out early on.  On the last day, there were also some that did not pass.  I don't know if it was the difficulty of the instructor/course, or just a chance thing.

It was 105 dgs, on blacktop, in long sleeves. If we could beat that, I think we were determined to pass the course. It was a good foundation, but obviously lots to learn ahead. Regardless, I got a lot out it, including a ferocious thirst :-) God bless Arthur Guinness.

We had the opposite situation.  We started first thing in the morning and it was bitterly cold. Despite lots of layers, it was brutal!
