Just picked up my bike and my wife loves it!!!
One problem, Were does she sit!
Doe's anyone have any suggestions for a comfortable two up seat?
Look on eBay.. there are a couple of seats there, now, but you need the horseshoe bracket that goes under the rear section. I believe Chief has one in the store, and there might be one on eBay listed as being for an 800
Does one have to have horseshoe bracket for a corbin seat, or does the corbin work without it??
I read somewere here on the forum that Corbin has the bracket integrated in the 1500 2-up seat.
But when I look on the corbin site they suggest to by the following parts from a kawa dealer (including the seat bracket!:

For the 800 you don't need the seat stay... everything is incorporated into the seat. For the 1500 you do need the seat stay/horseshoe bracket. The 800 and 1500 are totally different seat setups.

That's what I thought but wanted to make sure. I have future goals to work my way into a 1500, but wanted to be prepared. I have a corbin 2up on my 800 and like it.
Sorry are we talking about an 800 or 1500 here? Confused right now .....too early in the morning.
I could be wrong, but I figured that Roger was talking 1500, since his signature says that's what he rides.
Then Chief brought up the 800 deal, I'm guessing to clarify the differences in the two.
Hope that clears up your corn-fusion Ratman.
no just wondering because it is in the 800 section and I know he rides a 1500, and then an 800 seat was mentioned......and it was late and I was tired.....I might have to go to 0hi0 and whip some butt......straighten up some attitude....lol.....
If you go to Ohio, then continue on to DriftIn!
Well... good catch... this IS the 1500 section... (now... ::) - I don't think the bike model was in the signature originally... could be wrong) - and my response covered both the 1500 and the 800 so it covers both bases. ;)
Hepco and Becker make a 2 up seat with or without the luggage rack in the back.
