Any one know of a good cheap steering stabilizer that will fit the Drifter? My uncle just recently installed the voyager trike kit on his Drifter. Don't want to spend a lot on one at least till he sees if he gets the feel he's looking for.
You can probably make a bracket for a hatchback rear door damper..about $40 instead of $400.

Trouble with that is, if I'm not mistaken, all the dampers for a hatchback, car hood, tail-gate, or tool-box lid will only dampen one way- they are designed to lift. For a steering damper, you'll need a dual-direction damper, something like a truck steering stablizer. Maybe there is a small-ish one made to fit a compact truck, perhaps.
Or shop in the ATV line of steering stabilizers. I'm sure there are some that are less expensive than others, maybe could be adapted?
