Title: Could this by my next bike?
Post by: greenbarn on June 09, 2013, 18:35:00 PM
My dad has collected old scooters, mostly Cushman, for years.  He likes to tinker with them and restore them, along with old gas pumps, and anything else old for that matter.  Reminds of of "American Restoration" on the History Channel, except he's been doing this kind of stuff since way before reality shows were thought of.  That, and as far as I know, he's never made anywhere close to what Rick charges...   'course we're not in Vegas, either. ::)

Well, anyways, he mentions today he thinks he should sell his Mustang.  Not a muscle car-Mustang, the motorcycle-Mustang.  These were made from '46 to '64, and there were never a lot of them made.  He thinks his is a '48.  I've ridden it once several years ago, but it doesn't get out of the barn very often.

Now knowing he's considering selling it makes me sad.  I'm thinking we need to make a deal, with a low monthly payment plan or something....
