Well, was cruising by the local bike shop, saw a purple monster there, pulled in, asked the shop about the bike.
It was in having a new tire put on.
The owner lives about 15 miles from me.
Fringed floorboards, Indian-ized, it is a Later model, he painted over the chrome side covers and stuff to look like a 99 or 2000
White walls.
Looked nice.

Looks like it has a flange around the fuel tank...'99-2000. '01 and later have a no flange tank, and the older tank won't fit the newer frame....and then there's the tell tale speedo cable!
