I have seen a drifter with a Memphis Shade windshield going down the hwy. Does anyone know what mounting brackets need to be used to mount a Memphis Shade to a Drifter 800?
The drifter uses the front forks from the Classic, so I'm thinking that's the way to go.
I made a paper template and had an engineer cut a bracket out of mild steel which I folded around the frame, drilled four holes for the bolts and it works very well..cost me about $10 and another $2 for a can of cheap black gloss spray paint to make it look good.

This was an old windshield that I removed from one of my Honda Shadows, I bought some cheap clear plastic roofing and cut the bottom insert to fit using a pot lid as a template for the headlight hole, I used an electric paint stripper gun to form the insert into the correct shape, after bolting the insert in place the natural stresses of the plastic and the heat automatically formed the new shape..the bottom trim is just a piece of brake bleed hose slit along it's length with a craft knife.
