Title: LED/turn signal flasher
Post by: brillo72 on April 07, 2013, 09:36:07 AM
Has anyone changed their Drifter to LED turn signals? If so did you change the flasher or add load resisters. I would rather change the flasher, if one is available. Any info will be appreciated.

Do you need to add the load resistor if also installing Backoff?  If so, what value?

Do you need to use a load resistor if just installing the basic LED kit?  If so, what value and wattage is that?  Where does that get connected?

I thought about changing the flasher also... But mine (2002) is tied into the computer for the auto shutoff  ;)  I like the feature so keeping my flasher, still need to add load equalizers... I also converted my rear turn lights to run/turn so there is more light back there!!  was easy since I had left over front assemblies off my vulcan custom.
